The planned Golf Clubhouse, with its rugged-yet-refined mountain luxury and stately craftsman architecture, will epitomize the Red Ledges experience. The Clubhouse will be perfectly situated to fully enjoy the spectacular scenery, fresh mountain air, and incredible sunsets over Mt. Timpanogos.

The Clubhouse will offer fine dining for members and their guests, generous locker rooms for golfers, a well-appointed golf shop, and expansive open decks and patios. Gather around the fire pits to enjoy scenic views like no other along Utah's Wasatch Mountain Range.

Now open during the golf season, the Golf Shop is home to our three resident PGA Professionals and offers a full selection of fine apparel and golf equipment. For the novice or avid golfer alike, our professional staff offers full video swing analysis as well.

The Juniper Grill, with its open-air patios and comfortable indoor dining, is a lovely gathering place. An excellent spot to go for a choice meal prepared by our Executive Chef, you can also relax and unwind here with an ice-cold beverage after a round of golf while enjoying magnificent views of Mt. Timpanogos.

Meet the Staff

John "JJ" Johnson, Club General Manager

JJ oversees the entire operations of the Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, Clubhouse, the Fitness Pavilion tennis and fitness center, as well as all member functions and events. The Clubhouse staff reports to JJ, including the events coordinator, chef, golf services and all other Red Ledges personnel. It is a big responsibility, but you wouldn't know it to talk with him. JJ is one of the most easy-going and engaging managers you'll ever have the pleasure of working with.

Married to Michele and father of 2 boys, Conner and Colby, JJ was raised in Englewood, Colorado, and earned his B.A. from the University of Northern Colorado. Prior to taking over operations at Red Ledges, JJ spent over 20 years as a golf pro and manager. Most recently, JJ was Director of Golf and later General Manager of Shark's Tooth Golf Club in Lake Powell, Florida. Member of the PGA of America, JJ's interests include all sports, time with his family, and the magnificent game of golf.
