Jim McLean Golf School Announced at Red Ledges
January 2008
The golf school at Red Ledges will be McLean's seventh location in the United States, with existing establishments in Fla., Calif., Mich., Ariz. and Texas. McLean also has golf schools in Canada and Spain.
"Red Ledges differentiates itself from other communities by its partnerships with undisputed leaders of industry, and our relationship with Jim McLean will provide Red Ledges residents with golf instruction from one of the leading instructional facilities in the world," said M. Anthony Burns, managing owner of Red Ledges.
McLean is considered to be one of the top three golf instructors in the world and Jim McLean Golf Schools is the number one rated golf school in America. In 2007, the winners of both the US Men's and Women's Open were students of Jim McLean Golf Schools (Angel Cabrera and Cristie Kerr, respectively).
Both the design and operation of the facility at Red Ledges will be under the direction of Jim McLean Golf Schools International. The Jim McLean Golf School will provide Red Ledges members with such services as private and group instruction, club fitting, McLean's proprietary SuperStationT, which is fully equipped with the finest high-tech video equipment and computers, and more.
"Red Ledges is one of the most beautiful properties I have ever seen, and the ability to run one of my golf schools here is a fantastic opportunity," said McLean. "My goal is very simple: run the finest golf instruction in America. We do not compromise on any aspect of our business and look forward to serving our new students in Utah."
