The Golden Bear Opens His Legendary New Golf Course
"I like to create a little bit of mystery on a golf course, here and there... to create enough variety for every type of player, from very easy to I never saw that coming, challenging."
- Jack Nicklaus, 2009

"Awesome!" "Magnificent!" "Wow!" When the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course at Red Ledges opened to rave reviews this past July 4th weekend, more than 400 people came out to celebrate. Part of the excitement was that Jack Nicklaus, the Golden Bear himself, was on hand to partake of the festivities and talk about the layout and philosophy of this unforgettable new golf experience. Featuring 18 holes, each with a breathtaking view of the Rocky Mountains, you'll find every round a spectacular reminder of why we were irresistibly drawn to this beautiful place.

"Since the topography of the Red Ledges area is so stunning and diverse, we were challenged to stay true to the Red Ledges vision by planning each hole around its natural surroundings," Jack Nicklaus said of our 7,653-yard course. "We were able to nestle some holes around the famous sandstone ledges and situate other holes in juniper groves. I am delighted with how the course has turned out." That's high praise indeed from one of the world's preeminent course designers and the man Golf Inc. Magazine has named "Most Powerful Person in Golf" for five straight years.

Already one for the record books, the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course at Red Ledges is the 200th U.S. golf course created by Nicklaus Design in its nearly 40-year history. And now you get to call this incredible private course your own.

Both Heber City and Wasatch County are working to complete a memorandum of understanding that would guide the annexation process. One of the major points in the agreement is the alignment of the desired bypass road.
November 28, 2006
Annexation update: We have cleared the first hurdle in the annexation process -- our petition has been certified by the city (this means that the petition meets the legal requirements for annexation). As we worked through this process, the only substantial change to the master plan was that we reduced density by eliminating 84 home sites.
