Red Ledges, a private community located in Heber City, Utah, and their Village Center pool complex have been honored by Golf Inc. magazine, winning first place in the Aquatics Category in the publication’s 2020 Amenity of the Year competition. Golf Inc., the world’s only magazine for golf course developers, owners and management company executives, annually recognizes the best new amenities and golf industry’s top dining facilities at public and private clubs in the February/March issue.
Red Ledges opened the first phase of its Village Center resort-style pool complex in 2019 with a 144-foot water slide, water playground, lap-swimming lanes, lawn games, as well as a poolside bar and grill featuring cold beverages, ice-cream treats, and a full food menu. The complex also includes seating to accommodate 300, a year-round hot-tub with a view, well-appointed dressing rooms with lockers and showers, a playground, an outdoor ping-pong table, corn hole, and easy access to the first of hole of the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Park.
Golf Inc. recognized 19 honorees this year, eight in three amenity categories (including Best Aquatics Amenity) and 11 in the Golden Fork categories for best new and renovated dining facilities.
With a full host of amenities and activities, swimming and dining are at the top of the list at Red Ledges. The first pool at Red Ledges was built in 2012, and with a rapid growth in membership since then, ownership has invested in additional pool and dining amenities, including the Village Center complex.
