Red Ledges Procedures for Realtor Drone Use Policy

Purpose of this drone-use approval is to capture aerial photos of the property for sale at request of the property owner/seller. To limit disruption and protect the privacy of other homeowners, the photographer is only allowed to fly the drone directly over the property listed for sale. All roads and Club amenities and facilities are private and are excluded from any drone use permissions.

Approved drone-use is by appointment with a member of the Community Association staff.

Total fly time is limited to the 30-minute appointment window and must be completed during that time. Appointments are available Monday – Saturday between the hours of 8am – 4pm. Please email dsmith@redledgesclub.com for authorization.

All Realtors must fill out the attached form to provide details of the flight, including the date, time, and location.  Completed forms must be delivered to the Association’s Management Office at least five (5) business days in advance of the drone flight.

Management will forward a list of approved Drone Flight events each week to Security.

Please note that execution of this document only grants licensed drone operators’ permission of drone use as stated above. Drone Operator must follow the FAA rules for small, unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS). Operating a drone for commercial purposes without a license is a violation of federal law. Red Ledges is not responsible for any 3rd party drone use, fines, or damages.
