Guidelines for real estate drone photography and videography

Drone Photography Policy

Licensed drone operators may request approval to capture aerial photography and videography of active Red Ledges real estate listings. Drone approval is limited to the property being marketed and excludes Club amenities, facilities, and other private areas. All flights require a scheduled appointment and must comply with FAA regulations and Red Ledges community guidelines.

  • Submit Your Drone Request: Complete the form below with your requested flight date, time, and property address at least three (3) days in advance. Flight appointments are available Monday through Saturday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., with a maximum flight time of 30 minutes.

  • Flight Authorization: All requests are subject to review and approval. Once authorized, your scheduled flight will be communicated to Security. Drone operations conducted without prior approval are not permitted within Red Ledges.

Drone Guidelines

These guidelines help protect member privacy and preserve the enjoyment of Club amenities while allowing approved aerial photography for active Red Ledges real estate listings.

  • Drone operations must remain directly over the approved property and may not extend beyond its boundaries.

  • Photography and videography of Club amenities, facilities, private roads, and other common areas is not permitted.

  • Flight authorization applies only to the licensed drone operator identified in the approved request and is valid only for the approved date, time, and property.

  • Drone operators must comply with all applicable FAA regulations governing commercial small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS). Operating a drone for commercial purposes without the appropriate FAA certification is prohibited.

  • Red Ledges assumes no responsibility for third-party drone operations, including any fines, damages, or regulatory violations.
