One of our member’s favorite advantages of living at Red Ledges is the large sense of community and engagement. Many people come to Red Ledges looking to be a part of a community, where they know and love their neighbors, and our Club and its many amenities and activities accomplish that. With the current environment and the outbreak of COVID-19, our Club has done a tremendous job adapting to this new normal. Many of the amenities, classes, and activities have continued in virtual or modified ways and our members are embracing this new virtual Red Ledges. Below are some of the different ways that we have been staying engaged, entertained and active at Red Ledges.
Activities:
The Club has taken the member activities virtual with virtual activities like bingo night, a talent show, line dancing lessons, and a magic show – just to name a few. Our members are enjoying the spring weather by hiking and biking, and exploring our local trails via horseback. Members are playing tennis and pickleball outside on the courts to stay active and soak up some vitamin D.
Fitness:
Stephanie Potempa, Red Ledges Activities Director, has created a workout series, properly titled Tune In & Tone Up, on our YouTube channel with fun and easy at-home workouts. Virtual fitness classes are also being offered and are growing more and more popular with our members. To give a Tune In & Tone Up workout series a go, visit our YouTube channel here.
Golf:
The Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Park is open for play, with restrictions in place, and has been the busy with families, four-legged friends, and our serious golfers. The Club will also be opening the front 9 of our Jack Nicklaus Signature Course on April 17th for our golf members only. Our location at a moderate elevation allows us to open weeks in advance of many other courses in the area, and it is one of the best places to social distance and enjoy the fresh air! Our golf instructors are releasing a series of videos with tips and tricks to help you improve your golf game for the upcoming season. To watch the Golf Tips & Tricks videos, visit our YouTube channel here.
Dining:
Chef Daniel and his team have embraced the new take out style of the Juniper Grill, with many special to-go meals like a pancake breakfast, pizza night, Easter dinner, and fish and shrimp fry. An everyday take out menu has been created to serve the members throughout the week. The Club is also offering curbside pick-up of their well-loved, homemade cookies! They are a special treat!
We continue to make the most out of this challenging time, and are fortunate to live in such a beautiful area in the Heber Valley, at Red Ledges. We are excited for the summer months and hope that everyone is staying healthy and happy.
