Facilities Maintenance / Engineer
Job Description
The Facilities Maintenance role is meant for a go-getter. This person enjoys working with their hands and staying active in their daily responsibilities. This person is patient and detail oriented as it is the little things that matter in this role. This position maintains all areas throughout the Club. Small tasks add up to make a major difference and this person will carry out many items which truly makes Red Ledges shine. This is an ever-changing role with an opportunity to grow within the department, the Club and the company.
Daily Tasks
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintenance of Club facilities and grounds
- Conduct daily inspections of common areas and equipment
- Repair and replace items as needed
- Paint, sand and stain buildings, furniture and equipment
- Change light bulbs, replace HVAC filters, assist with clogged plumbing, and other maintenance work
- Sweep and clear debris along pathways
- Shovel and blow snow along pathways
- Empty trash and tidy public spaces
- Assist with preventative maintenance and miscellaneous projects
- Open and turn on tennis bubble as needed
Qualifications
- Eager to make a difference every day
- Comfortable working independently
- Moderate knowledge of a variety of trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering and landscaping
- Comfortable with hand tools and light-duty power equipment such as screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, drills, snow blowers, leaf blowers, pressure washers, etc.
- Willingness to further develop skillset
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements
This position operates during all seasons, including spring, summer, fall and winter in a mountain environment. We enjoy beautiful weather, also accompanied by some hot as well as cold days. This position is active and can involve increased amounts of walking, bending, kneeling and may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
