Red Ledges is a private, four-season luxury community, in a special setting near the foothills of Utah’s amazing Wastach Mountain range.  It’s minutes from Park City.  It’s a quick drive to Salt Lake’s International airport connecting amazing golf, skiing, cinema and adventures to those who travel the planet.  And mostly though, it’s home to a region where people love their surroundings and relish their time outdoors being active and alive.

Job Description

This position reports directly to the Community Association Manager and works closely with the Club Assistant General Manager as well as various Department Heads on a regular basis. The Red Ledges Greeter Services Manager represents Red Ledges’ first impression to Members and Guests as they access the property and throughout the community. As the leader of a team to include 5-6 people, the manager enjoys creating policies and procedures, and excels at training. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and searches for ways to make a positive impact on the people around them. The Red Ledges Greeter Services Manager will have excellent customer service skills, with the ability to manage difficult situations using great tact and empathy. This person will set the tone for their team.

Daily Tasks

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Red Ledges Greeter Services Manager is to be on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week to respond to any site emergencies or staff shortages
Recruit and hire Community Greeter and Community Watch staff
Create and constantly refine manual and training programs
Develop and manage weekly staffing schedule
Build and improve  operations by developing staff and coordinating needed support services to effectively meet the community’s operational goals
Evaluate and recommend hardware and technology upgrades
Ensure Greeter’s Cottage is staffed at all times
Ensure all authorized people are granted access to the property and kindly assist those that do not have the proper credentials
·         Ensure that all vehicles that approach the Red Ledges main gate are met by an attentive, friendly Greeter with a smile and warm greeting

·         Greet, assist and interact with a variety of persons, including, employees, members, visitors, contractors, and vendors

Inspect and observe all assigned areas of responsibility for suspicious activity, unsafe conditions, persons in need of assistance or any other unusual condition and effectively report all such incidents immediately
Create and maintain all Daily Logs, Incident Reports, etc. pertaining to Red Ledges in a neat and systematic order
Assist in preparation of emergency management and contingency planning
Identify and resolve problems with staff by following progressive coaching and training as needed
Project an approachable and professional image in personal appearance, manner and demeanor
Assure prompt and positive action on all resident complaints, questions, concerns and suggestions, as well as conduct quality assurance follow-up
Operate multi-line telephone, radio equipment, laptop, pc, smart phones and use professional telephone etiquette in handling resident requests
Create and use work order systems when/if necessary
Monitor cameras and follow-up immediately in regard to any issues
Maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the property as well as clean and organized work area
·         Ensure that daily administrative documentation is kept concise and complete at all times

·         Maintain all daily assigned equipment in functional and presentable condition

·         Respond to all requests for assistance relayed by Members, other Managers, or direct Supervisor

·         Complete various assignments as required

·         Submit reports in timely fashion

·         Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained at all times while in uniform

·         Lead by example and set the tone for the Red Ledges Community Security Department

Qualifications:

·         Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills

·         Must be able to stay calm and cool during times of high pressure and/or stressful situations, including large volume events, challenging situations with a variety of people, impromptu needs of Membership, or Management, etc.

·         Must be able to successfully fulfill all duties as required by his/her staff

·         Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a forward-facing, customer service position

·         Must have leadership experience, ideally 2-3 years, or more

·         Highly organized and detail oriented with an ability to multitask

·         Proficient in information technology; Outlook, Microsoft platforms and willing to learn more

·         Flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, weekends, and potentially overnights when necessary
