Work on Your Game Year-Round

New to the Red Ledges golf lifestyle or looking to improve your game? As a top-tier private golf community, Red Ledges is home to an exclusive Jim McLean Golf Academy, one of the finest golf schools in the country. Offering both group and private golf instruction to Red Ledges members and to the public, as well as a variety of clinic programs, Jim McLean Schools are famous for providing an enhanced learning environment for every student which enables them to rapidly understand concepts for improving their golf swing.

Summer and Winter Golf

The onsite summer facility includes a full driving range, chipping green and putting green with bent grass surfaces. Our new Jim McLean Learning Center, an indoor winter facility is fully equipped with a state-of-the-art course simulator, TrackMan Launch Monitor measurement system, and the latest JC Video Golf Swing Analysis Software. You can work on your game during the off-season, playing 18 virtual holes of simulated golf while two video cameras capture every swing for frame-by-frame slow motion analysis on a giant flat screen television.

One Hour & Half Hour Lessons

One-to-One Private or Multiple Player Group lessons are available by the half hour or hour to focus in on the aspects of your game that need the most attention. JC Video Golf Swing Analysis Software and TrackMan Launch Monitor are available for all lessons.

Our Junior Golf Schools emphasize learning and playing on the golf course. We practice all aspects of the game on the practice facility but add in time on the golf course so your junior can maximize his/her enjoyment of the school while gaining valuable golf course experience.

Youth Golf Lessons at Red Ledges

Playing Lesson

During a playing lesson you will learn shot making, hitting off uneven lies, course management, pre-shot routines, playing in the wind, and short game specialty shots. Become a scorer by learning how you take your game to the golf course. Bring someone with you and learn together!


Club Fitting


Have a new custom built club or an entire set of clubs ready for you this golf season. Using the JC Video and TrackMan Launch Monitor, the Jim McLean Golf School can fit you in the proper equipment, built to your specifications, and ship it right to your front door.

This package includes a two night stay at one of Red Ledges’ luxurious private Cabins or Cottages, six hours of golf instruction, lunch at the Juniper Grill, and two 18-hole rounds of golf at our Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course.

This package includes two hours of morning golf instruction followed by lunch at the Juniper Grill and a 9-hole playing lesson here at Red Ledges to put your instruction to work under true golf course conditions!
