15th Annual Independence Day Celebration and Fried Chicken Dinner

Friday, July 1 — 5:45 p.m. – 9:45 p.m.

Grab the family and Red Ledges friends, bring blankets or chairs and spread out on the practice facility lawn for a memorable summer evening! Enjoy an array of fun roaming entertainers, bounce houses, Chef Daniel’s famous fried chicken dinner, 3 local food trucks, and more! DJ Dolph will kick the evening off with rockin’ tunes followed by a true country vibe (and some line dancing, of course!), with the Charley Jenkins Band! The evening will culminate at dark with an incredible fireworks show (conditions permitting)! Please see the calendar for further details including pricing and registration.

Blue, White and Red Ledges Golf Tournament

Saturday, July 2—8:00 a.m.

Come out for our biggest tournament of the season with the Annual Blue, White & Red Ledges Golf Tournament! Cost for the tournament is $65 for members and $125 for guests and includes tournament, all food on the course, tee gift and prizes. We will be playing a one net best ball of the foursome for this event. The tournament kicks off with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. To ensure a proper pace of play we are limiting the size of the field to 112 players so be sure to register early by calling the Signature Shop at 435-657-4054 to ensure your spot!

Steel Drums & BBQ at the Village Center Pool

Saturday, July 4—12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

Grab your sunscreen, don your swimsuit and head over to the Village Center Pool to cool off and enjoy the July 4th holiday. We’ll have a terrific steel drum band from PC High School playing poolside for the whole family to enjoy along with a traditional style barbeque by R&R Barbeque! Cost for the barbeque is $27 for adults and $14 for kids. Click here to learn more.

Wednesday, June 22 – 3:00 p.m. – Red Ledges Kid’s Club – Nature Scavenger Hunt

Join the Red Ledges Kid’s Club for an afternoon hike right in our own beautiful backyard along with a cool nature themed projects along the way! 

Friday, June 24 – 9:30 a.m. – Fat Tire Friday

Grab your mountain bike for a fun trail ride in Heber or Park City. This is an all-levels ride, but you should be familiar with biking on dirt and single track. 

Friday, June 24 – 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – DJ Dolph at the Village Center Pool

Let our favorite local mix master, DJ Dolph add a bit of positive energy and umph to your Friday afternoon while he spins some awesome tunes at the Village Center Pool!

Saturday, June 25 – 10:30 a.m. – ‘Read’ Ledges Book Club

We’ll meet at Juniper Grill to enjoy breakfast while discussing our next book, The Indigo Girl by Natasha Boyd. Come ready for a lively discussion with good friends and neighbors. 

Tuesday, June 28 & July 12 – 9:15 a.m. – Red Ledges Hikers

Throughout the summer Red Ledges will offer fun group hikes which will vary in location, difficulty and length. Learn new trails, meet new friends and enjoy getting out in the beautiful Utah weather! 

Wednesday, June 29 – 5:00 p.m. – Summer Sippers – Summer Wines Kickoff

Join us outside at the Village Center Pool for the Summer Wine kickoff party where you’ll be presented with unique wines available in Utah to enjoy all summer long. Cost is just $50 per person. Space is limited.

Thursday, June 30 & July 14 – 9:15 a.m. – Thursday Repeat Hike

These Thursday hikes will go to the same location as the ‘Red Ledges Hikers’ went 2-days prior.

Tuesday, July 5 – 9:00 a.m. – Casual Hikers

Casual Hike days will be offered every other Tuesday and are perfect for those who want to get out and enjoy the trails without the strain of too many miles or too steep of terrain. Plan on 1-3 miles on gentle terrain. Space is limited.

Tuesday, July 5 & 19 – 9:15 a.m. – Two-Wheelin’ Tuesday

Join Red Ledges for group rides in various locations around the Heber Valley and beyond. Even if you’re a beginner, come out and learn how to ride safely and have fun on a road bike. If you’re a seasoned rider, come out and help lead the pack! Please register.

Wednesday, July 6 – 3:00 p.m. – Kid’s Crafts with Kourtney

Join Kourtney in the Studio for a fun, summer-themed craft to keep their creative fires lit through their summer breaks.

Club News

We had an awesome turnout for our first summer concert of the season with Parrot Nation! Golf season is in full swing despite a few lingering June frost delays. Swim lessons have begun at the Village Center Pool, so please check the calendar for details on how to sign up and keep the kids safe and happy in the water this summer.

Fire Season Safety

With summer holidays approaching, it is important to remember that Fire season is already here! We want to remind you that fireworks are not allowed at any time on property at Red Ledges. Please see the explanation below from the Community Association. Have fun and be safe.

NO Fireworks: Because Red Ledges is in a high risk area for fire, the discharge of fireworks is not allowed unless pre-approved by the Association and discharged by a licensed professional. Likewise, the use of Chinese Lanterns is not allowed. Please do not light any fireworks on or around Red Ledges Property. In doing so, you may be assessed a fine as well as be responsible for any damages caused by lighting fireworks. See section 2.H.5 (page 13) in the Rules and Regulations.

Weekly Events

NEW TIME! Sundays – 10:30 a.m. – Bridge Group

You, your spouse, significant other, best friend, or relative are all invited to join the Red Ledges Bridge Group in the Studio each Sunday. 

Sundays – 3:00 p.m. – Sunday Funday 

Sign up to join Sunday Funday at the Golf Park to enjoy 12-holes of fun, relaxed golf followed by complimentary appetizers at the Village Center Poolside Grill. Shotgun start is at 3:00 p.m., so please arrive by 2:50 as we’ll toss balls in the air for hole and partner assignments. Be sure to register online by the Saturday prior. Sunday Funday is a great way to connect with friends, meet new people and hone your short game skills! All golf and golf park members are welcome to join, and no handicaps are required. Please contact Red Ledges member Bambi Wood (bamsanwood@gmail.com) or the Signature Shop with questions. 

Monday, Wednesday & Friday – June 6 – August 10 -– Summer Tennis Camp

During weekly sessions kids ages 5-14 will have the opportunity to work with professional coaches to improve their tennis skills and enjoy fun team activities! To register, please contact Director of Tennis, Michael Topp at michael.topp@redledges.com or 435-657-4055. More details online.

Mondays – 10:00 a.m. – Ladies 12-Hole Mondays

The 12-Hole Monday’s group is great for those ladies who wish to play in a non-competitive environment while still meeting and playing with new and different members. 

Mondays – 6:30 p.m. – Thursdays – 9:00 a.m. & Fridays – 8:30 a.m. – Pickleball Fun League 

Sign up to join our Pickleball Fun League with great games each week on the Pickleball courts adjacent to the studio! This is a drop-in/member-run event and all levels are welcome to join in the fun every Monday & Thursday at 1:00 p.m.

Tuesdays & Wednesdays – Golf Course Maintenance

Each Tuesday, the 18-Hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Course will be closed until 12:30 p.m. and the Practice Range will be closed until 11:30 a.m. The Golf Park will be closed on Wednesdays until 12:30 p.m. during the golf season. This will allow the golf maintenance team time to perform needed tasks each week. Thank you for your understanding.

Wednesdays – 3:00 p.m. – Mahjong

Join your Red Ledges friends for a fun Mahjong game each week. This tile-based game ‘takes 5 minutes to learn and a lifetime to master’!

Wednesdays (June 15 – July 27) – 6:30 p.m. – Beginners Bridge 

Audrey Grant Bridge lessons for beginners will again be offered by Red Ledges’ members, Bob & Sandy Hindy. These will be comprised of four lessons focusing on a different topic and will then continue for three weeks with practice games.

Thursdays – 9:00 a.m. – Pickleball 101

If you’re curious about learning the game of Pickleball – even if you’ve never picked up a paddle – this is the class for you! Each week we’ll focus on a new aspect of Pickleball. Cost is $25 for members and $35 for non-members and will be held on the upper tennis courts. Each class will accommodate 8 players max, so please register online.

Thursdays & Saturdays– 8:30 a.m. – Men’s Golf Group

Gentleman golfers of all levels are invited to come play 18-holes on the Jack Nicklaus Signature Course every Thursday and Saturday morning. 

Thursdays – 12:30 p.m. – Ladies Casual 9-Holes

Meet at the Signature Shop each Tuesday at 12:30p.m. for a casual 9-holes of golf on the Signature Course.

Thursdays – 6:30 p.m. – Bridge Group

You, your spouse, significant other, best friend, or relative are all invited to join the Red Ledges Bridge Group in the Clubhouse Lounge each Sunday.
