Red Ledges wins Club of the Year award from Cliff Drysdale Tennis

January 3, 2019

Cliff Drysdale Tennis – Cliff Drysdale Tennis, the largest tennis management company in the U.S., announced their year-end ‘Cliffy Award’ winners on December 14, 2018, with standout employees and clubs being recognized for their efforts in 2018.

The Cliffy Awards are presented to team members and clubs that embody the Cliff Drysdale Tennis experience through a commitment to world-class tennis and exceptional service for members and guests. All CDT managed facilities submit nominations for the awards before votes are tallied and finalized by the executive staff.

“We take great pride in our extremely talented team across the nation,” said Don Henderson, CEO and President of Cliff Drysdale Tennis. “Growing the game of tennis requires excellent tennis professionals and support staff to ensure that players have a meaningful and engaging experience with the sport.”

The prestigious Club of the Year honor was awarded to Red Ledges, Utah, a growing facility led by Director Michael Topp. The club has consistently improved monthly programming for the past three years. Through this growth, the club was able to undergo a large capital project adding two additional courts and is currently in the process of adding even more. “We’d like to thank General Manager John Johnson and the Burns family for their support the tennis program,” said Scott Colebourne, COO of Cliff Drysdale Tennis. “Through their vision and the hard work of Michael Topp, Red Ledges has personified the CDT experience.”

Lessons on the Tennis Courts at Red Ledges

Red Ledges is a private community just outside Park City, Utah, led by Director of Tennis Michael Topp. Despite being a slightly smaller club, the team at Red Ledges provides the ultimate tennis experience year-round. The facility is kept in extremely clean and professional looking manner despite the limited confines of space, which has allowed them to expand their monthly programming. “This is due in a large part to the community of tennis players and raving fans that Michael has created at Red Ledges,” said Scott Colebourne, Chief Operations Officer. Colebourne also stated that “the club personifies the CDT experience and we are excited for its continued growth.”
