Getting here: Fly into the brand-new Salt Lake City International Airport
The Salt Lake City International Airport is making their guests feel comfortable and safe flying, and got some major upgrades. This large travel hub was unveiled on September, 16 2020 and highlights of phase 1, of the $4-billion expansion, include:
- Delta Sky Club with indoor and outdoor seating
- Direct flights to/from SLC from Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, New York City, and over 20 direct flights to/from California
- Improved over-sized baggage system with Utah’s skiers and riders in mind
- LEED Gold-Certified terminal with state-of-the-art ventilation systems
- Modern architecture with Utah inspired art installations
- Increase dining and shopping options
Whether you rent a car, or take a private car, the 45 minute drive to Red Ledges from the airport is fast and easy – plus it may be one of the most beautiful drives in the United States. The scenic drive meanders through jagged cut mountains and up and over Parley’s Summit (7,210 ft.) on HWY 80. As you drive into Red Ledges’ valley, the snow capped peaks of Mount Timpanogos, home to Sundance Resort, will amaze you each and every time. Did we mention there are only two stop lights before arriving at the Red Ledges’ Greeter’s Cottage?
Prefer to fly private?
