A common refrain heard is, ‘I came to Utah for the winters but stayed for the summers.’ And, it’s true! Whatever your outdoor pursuit, Red Ledges’ Activities Director, Stephanie Potempa leads the charge, offering organized hikes, bike rides and more all year round. The online event calendar is a great tool to help plan your summer fun – the only problem is not having enough days in the week to do it all! Below, are some of the best summertime activities to enjoy right here in your own backyard!

Hiking – Hundreds of miles of trails offer stunning vistas, mountain lakes, and quiet respite.

Biking – Whether a roadie, a mountain biker or an e-bike fan – there’s an epic ride for everyone!

Camping – From roughing it in the thousands of acres of National Forests surrounding Heber, glamping in a yurt in Moab or renting an RV to explore our five incredible National Parks – camping offers fun for the whole family.

Fishing – The Provo River runs right through Heber, offering a blue-ribbon fishery with incredible flyfishing opportunities for the novice to pro.

Water Sports – With numerous reservoirs to choose from, whether water skiing, relaxing on a pontoon boat, sailing, paddle boarding or kayaking – beat the heat with a fun day on the water.
