We are thrilled to announce that beginning on Friday, March 20th the Golf Park will be open for our golf members!
The Jack Nicklaus Golf Park at Red Ledges was the first-ever golf park designed by Jack Nicklaus. The golf-park encourages kids, beginner golfers, and experts to enjoy a quick and easy game of golf. With multiple tee locations, standard and oversized cups at each hole, and greens that keep the ball pointed towards the hole, the golf park gives new players confidence in their game. Players of all levels can enjoy a quick round on this par-3, 12 hole course located near the Village Center. Learn what inspired Jack Nicklaus to design the course in the video below:
The golf park not only functions as a golf course, but as a green space and park within our community. Members congregate there to play frisbee, disc golf, walk their dogs, and throw around the football, just to name a few. The golf park is also the site of the Red Ledges Summer Concert series, where members gather together to eat, drink, and listen to live music, all with the stunning background of Mt. Timpanogos. We love the uniqueness of the golf park and the fun, family- friendly spirit it brings into our community.
For the safety of our members, and to promote social distancing due our updated Covid-19 policies, access to the Golf Park will be walking only. While out playing, you will notice that, by intention, there are no flagsticks or rakes in the bunkers. You will also notice that the cups for the holes are a half inch above the surface of the green, so that you will not have to reach into the hole to retrieve your ball. With springtime conditions, we ask that in the presence of frost please stay off the grass. Play at the Golf Park is open to golf members only, no guests please.
