The prestigious Jim McLean Golf School includes winter training facilities as well as state of the art golf simulator. Our golf instruction center is now located at the practice facility of the Red Ledges Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. Jim McLean Golf Schools are famous for providing an enhanced learning environment for every student which enables them to rapidly understand concepts for improving their golf swing. Golf lessons are available for members and non-members.
Jon Paupore
Director of Instruction
Selected by Jim McLean as the Director of Instruction for the school at Red Ledges in April 2010, Jon joins an elite team of the finest golf instructors in the world. Jon has worked with golfers of every skill level, from the best players in the world to first-timers and juniors. He has developed training programs that maximize the enjoyment of men, women, and junior golfers while enhancing their understanding of their game.
Ryan Smith
Jim McLean Lead Instructor
Ryan joined the Jim McLean Golf School at Red Ledges in 2018. His career in golf has progressed from outside staff to assistant golf professional, and ultimately to teaching professional. Ryan also competes at the professional level on mini tours, bringing a competitive edge and real-world experience to his instruction. His background as a player gives him a unique perspective, especially in the mental aspects of the game. Ryan is passionate about helping golfers of all levels achieve their goals by blending technical instruction with insights from his playing career.
