Hold on to your hats….we know summer has got to come soon! Nonetheless, we’ve been biking, hiking, fly fishing and more….despite the snow flurries and relentless wind! There is so much going on at Red Ledges this summer, so don’t wait to check out our calendar so you can plan to pack in all the fun possible in the long days of summer that are surely just around the corner!

5th Annual Memorial Day 5k & Waffle Love

Monday, May 30 – 9:00 a.m.

Lace-up your shoes, grab the dog, the kids, and your Red Ledges friends for our 5th Annual Memorial Day 5k Fun Run at the Golf Park! This is a true fun run and is open to runners and walkers of all levels (non-motorized bikes/scooters and leashed dogs are also welcome but should be mindful of runners/walkers). The course starts and ends just behind the Village Center Pool and consists of two laps around the Golf Park. A well-earned breakfast from the Waffle Love food truck will be offered from 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the start/finish! Cost is just $10 per person (kids and adults). If you prefer not to eat, the event is complimentary! Members—click here to register for the 5k fun run.

Memorial Day Barbeque & Live Music by DJ Dolph

Monday, May 30 – 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Suit up and head over to the Village Center Pool to spend a sunny afternoon splashing around with the family, jamming to live tunes with everyone’s favorite, DJ Dolph! A traditional style barbeque will be served from R&R Barbeque, including a bbq brisket, pulled pork, smoked chicken, baked beans, mac and cheese, and banana pudding! Mmmmm! Cost is $27 for adults and $14 for kids. Members—click here to register for the barbeque.

Friday, May 27 – 9:30 a.m. – Fat Tire Friday

Grab your mountain bike for a fun trail ride in Heber or Park City. This is an all-levels ride, but you should be familiar with biking on dirt and single track. We’ll practice riding techniques and gain confidence on the trail! Plan on climbing and descending, and we’ll have fun! 

Saturday, May 28 – 9:00 a.m. – Memorial Day Tournament 

Today’s tournament will be a 4-person Scramble consisting of any combination of Men, Lady, and Mixed teams. The cost is $65 per member and $125 per guest and includes all food, prizes, and golf.

Tuesday, May 31 – 9:15 a.m. – Red Ledges Hikers

Throughout the summer, Red Ledges will offer fun group hikes that vary in location, difficulty, and length. Learn new trails, meet new friends and enjoy getting out in the beautiful Utah weather! Space is limited, and registration opens 2-weeks prior.

Wednesday, June 1 – 3:00 p.m. – Kid’s Crafts with Kourtney – Potted Plant

Join Kourtney in the Studio for a fun, summer-themed craft to keep their creative fires lit through their summer breaks. Kids 5-12 are welcome to join. Today we’ll have fun decorating a container before potting a beautiful plant to take home and nurture!

Thursday, June 2, 16 & 30 – 9:15 a.m. – Thursday Repeat Hike

These Thursday hikes will go to the exact location as the ‘Red Ledges Hikers’ went 2-days prior and is led by guide Kristen Kofford. Space is limited, and registration opens 2-weeks before the Tuesday Hike.

Friday, June 3 – 9:15 a.m. – Cruiser Bike Ride – Deer Creek

Enjoy an out and back ride along the Deer Creek Reservoir in Midway. This is a wide, gravel trail with rolling terrain (i.e., hills) and would be best for a mountain bike, cross bike, or e-bike with good tires (i.e., no road bikes or skinny tires). Distance will depend on the group but plan on 3-5 miles. 

Tuesday, June 7 & 21 – 9:00 a.m. – Casual Hikers

Casual Hike days will be offered every other Tuesday and are perfect for those who want to get out and enjoy the trails without the strain of too many miles or too steep of terrain. Plan on 1-3 miles on gentle terrain. Space is limited.

Friday, June 10 – 9:00 a.m. – Precision Golf Club Fitting with PXG

Our PXG Fitting expert and representatives will be in the Practice Facility to fit you for your new Gen 5 equipment introduced in April. Book and enjoy your private fitting session.

Saturday, June 11 – 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. – Red Ledges Summer 4th Annual Summer Concert Series

Bring a blanket and kick back on the grass with a picnic, dinner from the Los Cuanados food truck, or from the Village Poolside Grill, all while enjoying terrific live music by Parrot Nation! Parrot Nation recreates the fun party atmosphere of a live Jimmy Buffett concert, performing iconic hits, classic covers, and popular duets, all to the joy of die-hard “Parrot Heads” and casual fans alike. 

Tuesday & Wednesday, June 14 & 15 – 6th Annual Ladies Golf Invitational

Join our 6th Annual Ladies Golf Invitational at Red Ledges. Teams will strictly consist of 2 Ladies – 1 Lady Member and 1 Lady Guest – with the format of Better Ball of Partners. Cost is $350 per team or $175 per player. Price includes all food, golf, tee prizes, cocktail reception, and awards and is an excellent opportunity to show off our beautiful Jack Nicklaus Signature Course and Golf Park here at Red Ledges! 

Tuesday, June 14 & 28 – 9:15 a.m. – Red Ledges Hikers

Throughout the summer, Red Ledges will offer fun group hikes that will vary in location, difficulty, and length. Learn new trails, meet new friends and enjoy getting out in the beautiful Utah weather! Please register as space is limited to 9 members in the practice of good trail etiquette and parking limitations.

Weekly Events

NEW TIME! Sundays (starting June 12) – 10:30 a.m. – Bridge Group

You, your spouse, significant other, best friend, or relative are all invited to join the Red Ledges Bridge Group in the Studio each Sunday. 

Sundays (starting June 12) – 3:00 p.m. – Sunday Funday 

Sign up to join Sunday Funday at the Golf Park to enjoy 12-holes of fun, relaxed golf followed by complimentary appetizers at the Village Center Poolside Grill. The shotgun start is at 3:00 p.m., so please arrive by 2:50 as we’ll toss balls in the air for hole and partner assignments. Be sure to register online by the Saturday prior. Sunday Funday is a great way to connect with friends, meet new people and hone your short game skills! All golf and golf park members are welcome to join, and no handicaps are required. Monday, Wednesday & Friday – June 6 – August 10 -– Summer Tennis Camp

During weekly sessions, kids ages 5-14 will have the opportunity to work with professional coaches to improve their tennis skills and enjoy fun team activities! To register, please contact Director of Tennis Michael Topp at michael.topp@redledges.com or 435-657-4055. More details online.

Mondays – 10:00 a.m. – Ladies 12-Hole Mondays

The 12-Hole Monday group is great for those ladies who wish to play in a non-competitive environment while still meeting and playing with new and different members. 

Tuesdays & Wednesdays – Golf Course Maintenance

Each Tuesday, the 18-Hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Course will be closed until 12:30 p.m., and the Practice Range will be closed until 11:30 a.m. The Golf Park will be closed on Wednesdays until 12:30 p.m. during the golf season. This will allow the golf maintenance team time to perform needed tasks each week. Thank you for being so understanding.

Wednesdays – 3:00 p.m. – Mahjong

Join your Red Ledges friends for a fun Mahjong game each week. This tile-based game ‘takes 5 minutes to learn and a lifetime to master’!

Thursdays – 9:00 a.m. & Fridays – 8:30 a.m. – Pickleball Fun League 

Sign up to join our Pickleball Fun League with great games each week on the Pickleball courts adjacent to the Studio! The drop-in member-run event welcomes all skill levels to participate in the fun every Monday & Thursday at 1:00 p.m.

Thursdays – 9:00 a.m. – Pickleball 101

If you’re curious about learning the game of Pickleball – even if you’ve never picked up a paddle – this is the class for you! Each week we’ll focus on a new aspect of Pickleball. The cost is $25 for members and $35 for non-members and will be held on the upper tennis courts. Each class will accommodate eight players max, so please register online.

Thursdays & Saturdays– 10:30 a.m. (tee time will change later in the season) – Men’s Golf Group

Gentleman golfers of all levels are invited to play 18-holes on the Jack Nicklaus Signature Course every Thursday and Saturday morning. 

Thursdays (starting June 9) – 6:30 p.m. – Bridge Group

You, your spouse, significant other, best friend, or relative are all invited to join the Red Ledges Bridge Group in the Clubhouse Lounge each Sunday.
