PARK CITY AND THE REGION GETS QUITE A FEW VISITORS FOR SUNDANCE, WINTER SPORTS AND OUTDOOR ADVENTURE – AND SOME OF THEM FALL IN LOVE WITH THE IDEA OF STAYING LONGER, AND HAVING A PLACE IN THE BEST REGION OF THE ROCKIES. That has benefitted Red Ledges: with 115 properties sold community-wide for a total value of over $60 million (a jump of nearly 30% from 2016!), 2017 was a record year for sales. With new neighborhoods (like Summit Loop) making their debut in 2017, median lot pricing was up 33 percent over 2016.
Red Ledges’ expanding presence in the region and community’s stable ownership group (the Burns and Archibald families have been the visionaries of the community since its inception – see that story in our 10th anniversary video here) have encouraged prudent buyers to build their dream homes in the community. The community’s Architectural Review Committee has never been busier: as of early January, there were over 100 homes either under construction or in the design and approval stages in Red Ledges, a record level of construction activity in the community. We also saw another community record last year when a home on Explorer Peak Drive sold for over $3 million, the highest priced home in Red Ledges’ history, after just a few days on the market
With the increasing volume of buyers coming to the community and new homes, cottages, cabins and villas coming to completion, the inventory of available properties in Red Ledges changes almost daily. RedLedges.com has comprehensive information on new properties and neighborhoods in the community – the Real Estate section is updated in real time.
